THE MILL | SINCE 1916

A Southside landmark,

made livable.

The Standard Coosa Thatcher Mill was the engine of a neighborhood — more than 2,000 workers came through its doors each day. By 2003 it had gone quiet. But the bones remained.
Today its brick, timber and industrial windows are preserved, with entirely new systems built behind them.
